The Legend of the Bloody Lady

Stories tell of an accursed sea that lay within the Devils Troika, three strange rocky islands beyond the borders of any nation. This sea, 'tis said, devours ships and their crew whole! 'Tis here that Sheyanne of the Seven Winds is said to have had his first, and perhaps most important, adventure.

An adventure that spans the length and breadth of time and the world itself. This is a story of three great legends of piracy, of two remarkably different ways of thinking, and of one flag whose meaning stretches across four hundred years of time... All to deliver a message between two people who never should have been able to meet.

This is... the Legend of the 'Bloody Lady'!

A piece that actually doesn't have anything to do with the visual novel I've been writing lately!

It's a piece for one of my other original fiction stories, Galesong Legacy. I've been working on this one off and on for a while, though. And, honestly, drawing (and writing) Sheyanne just never gets old. This was also my first real chance to flesh out the design for Sheyanne's younger version.

And for those curious, the  'Bloody Lady' is the name of the flag(s) in the background
